NCC students make dog tags

Sam Roy (Pictured top right), the Vice President of the Veterans’ Club, helped organize a Dog Tag Event at Norwalk Community College.

“The event was organized to bring awareness to the fact that [NCC is] doing a care-package drive for Connecticut troops who are deploying.  The drive is from November 10 to December 10,” said Roy.

He also encouraged students to support and join the Veterans’ Club.  The club is open to returning veterans and also those with any interest in the miliary.

Many students and faculty members took advantage of the opportunity to have their own custom-made dog tag.  Roy considered the event a great success.
