Contest won: grant receives new name

Lightin’ up NCC’s new smoking policy

Effective Dec. 1, 2009 smoking will no longer be allowed on any walkways or roadways between the parking lots and buildings.

The only available space left for smokers are in the parking lots and the smoking huts.

Student Government focuses on violence

The Student Government of Norwalk Community College held an open forum discussion on Nov. 12 to ask students if they felt safe on campus.

According to Evan Christiano, the president of the Student Government, there have been increasing reports of illicit activity on campus, including violence, drug dealing and sexual harassment.
